RNAO statement on the passing of Pradeepa Karunananda, NSO member and recent RN grad

RNAO is devastated by the tragic passing of recently graduated RN and RNAO member Pradeepa Karunananda and her parents. The family of three was killed in a tragic car accident in Milton, Ontario on Saturday, June 19, 2021. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident. Pradeepa worked at Peel Public Health and recently wrote and passed her NCLEX exam after making the Dean’s Honour List at the University of New Brunswick/Humber College. Our deepest condolences and sympathies go out to family, friends and colleagues of Pradeepa and her parents.
