Ontarians will cast a vote in the provincial election on June 2. To inform voters on each party’s priorities, the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) will be co-hosting an all-party virtual debate with the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment’s Ontario Chapter (CAPE-ON) on April 19 focused on health and justice in a climate emergency.

Ontario’s nursing crisis: Your health, your health system outlines recommendations it wants all political parties to adopt ahead of the June 2 election. The recommendations cover five key areas that shape people’s ability to be healthy: the environment, social determinants of health, nursing, care delivery and fiscal capacity.
