January 29, 2020 COVID-19 report
Dear member,
Here is the latest situational report #5 dated Jan. 29 that we received from the Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) related to the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
During Wednesday’s daily briefing with ministry and EOC officials, the confirmed number of positive cases in Ontario remains at two.
On Tuesday, Jan. 28, the first case in B.C. was reported, involving a man who had recently travelled back home to that province from the city of Wuhan.
We can also tell you that Ontario’s ministry of health has set up a health provider website.
You can inform yourself about previous reports and other documents provided to us today in French (primary care guidance protocols) and patient and visitor signs in Chinese .
I want to take a moment to thank those of you who have taken the time to write back expressing appreciation for these daily RNAO coronavirus updates. RNAO has your back and we, in turn, are stronger because of you.
With warm regards!
